Ægissida is located by the Ring Road, facing the village of Hella, west of the river Ytri-Rangá (West Ranga) . Hella is 94 km from Reykjavik. It is rare to find a more beautiful view than from Ægissida, where you can see almost all the mountains on the south terrain of Iceland.
